Hi! I'm a new grad soon to be starting on a high risk L&D unit. During my practicum I had difficulty ausculating the NB's with the provided neonate stethoscopes (with all the commotion in the rooms it was really hard for me to hear so it always took me longer because I wanted to make sure I was accurate). SO I would like to buy a good stethoscope that I could use to assess my moms and NBs. I've done some research and have seen that some people use the Littmann Cardiology III on adults and NBs. Is this appropriate? Has anyone used another kind for this purpose? Also, does the length of the tubing matter? 22cm vs 27in? Thanks so much for any advice!!
