by Nurserton Apr 10, '10All the new exercise/toning shoes out now...i.e. the Skechers and many other brands that have cropped up...Is anyone wearing them on the floor? Is the rocker bottom stable enough when out on the floor? I am debating getting a pair for work but don't want to get something that I'll twist my ankle in...

- Apr 10, '10 by work&playlol! I just saw the Skechers ad. and was about to ask the same. They're offering free shipping and 10% of. I'll wait for other replies.
- Apr 10, '10 by VivaLasViejasI've never worn anything better for floor work! I just bought a pair of the Skechers Shape-Ups, and they are WONDERFUL. They make me feel 15 years younger and 100 lbs. lighter, which is no small task.........and I have weak ankles and haven't even come close to twisting one in these shoes. Yes, they are a little pricey, but I'd pay twice the $110 these shoes cost me for something that makes my lower back, knees, and ankles feel the way the Shape-Ups do.CrazierThanYou and work&play like this.
- Apr 11, '10 by NGeorgiaI have a pair of the reebok easy tones and they are soooo comfy! Like walking on a trampoline. Plus they look like regular shoes, not bulky. They are very stable.

- Apr 11, '10 by L8RRNI wear Sketchers Shape ups at work, too. LOVE them. Feels like I am walking on carpet. If you order online, I would suggest going to a local store to try them on first. Most of them run 1/2 size off...so if you wear a 7 1/2 you may need an 8 in the shape ups. I read that on a review online and went to look at them locally and did need the extra 1/2 size for comfort.work&play likes this.

I am planning to get some for when I start nursing school in the fall.
From what I've heard, they're not actually unstable. - Apr 18, '10 by work&playQuote from CrazierThanYouYou know, I want to buy a pair, but a co-worker was wearing them and she looked like she was limpping.I've heard the same things cited above.
