How many pair of scrubs to start with?

That all depends on where you are working and how likely you are to get them messy For me, I'm starting with 4 pr. One to wear, one to pack as a spare. Two at home for the next day same (wear/pack). Now, I'm not on the job yet- so that's just theoretical- but it's what I'm starting from.

I started with 5 scrubs. one for each day of work (3- 12 hr shifts) and 2 for orientation classes. I also bought a pair of Danskos and wore them in during my orientation classes so they wouldnt hurt my feet when I started my 12 hour shifts.

I say one for each day you are working in a typical week, plus a spare to keep in the locker or your bag. So if you do 3 12's I'd go with at least 4 pairs. There is nothing worse than having to do laundry after a 12 hour shift when you realize everything is dirty and you are back on in 8 hours!
