Do you wear mostly solids or prints?

For those of you that don't have a mandatory color for work, which do you wear more, prints or solids? Any preferences with color- as in brights vs neutrals or darks?

I prefer solid colors to prints - I have a few printed tops but they are not "cartoonish" and colors like teal blue and gold. I always wear earth tones and deep blues and rose or heather type colors in summer, which is a personal preference for all my clothes. I've never been a bright yellow, pink and green type.

I wear a pretty good mix of them both.

I work in Peds though and we are not required to wear specific colors or anything..

My personal preference is probably solids. I like the dark colors :)

Since I am switching to hospice, I've invested in several solid color tops as being more appropriate. I will save my cartoon prints for my hh peds patients and my non-cartoon prints for either. Haven't got any neon yellow, green, or hot pink yet. I'm mostly conservative with colors. I like my blues.

I wear solids. Just seems more professional to me. Also, I do not work with children.

But, some of them are very cute and I can understand why others love them. But just not for me.

I've always worn solid but recently have tried out some print top but the fitted fashion kind. My patients very much like my zebra print crossover top with pink trim and pink pants.

What do you think of the more fashiony tops like floral or geometric patterns? I'm leaning towards solids in dark colors but I do like light pinks and blues but I'm afraid of those colors staining too much.

I work at a pain management office, and I wear my printed scrubs to work, but on days that I have class, I have to wear my clinical scrubs, which are solid royal blue.

I work at a children's home, so I mostly wear cheerful prints. Animals, cartoons, anything brightly colored. As for pants, I have and wear pink, green, purple, lavender, aqua, coral, brown, grey, and black. I like variety. :)

I'm peds also, so mostly bright colored or cartoon print tops. The kids always notice when I get a new top :) I also have all the cheesy holiday ones too, lol!
