    Can someone who has used both give me a good opinion about the difference? Is once as good as the other? I have been using Dansko for YEARS and I really love the shoe, but I have just come across Sanita; which are similarly priced but, I like some of the colors and styles they have and wondering if they are just the same as Dansko.

    They are the same. I was told that business partners split leading one to keep the name dansko and the other naming their shoe sanita.

    From what I've gathered, Sanita has been around longer than Dansko. Sanita began in 1907 and Dansko in 1990. I read that Dansko used to be a Sanita distributer and then when the agreement ended, Sanita started distributing their own brand. I just wasn't sure if they were the SAME. If they are, then I won't care which one I buy since I LOVE THEM!

    The Sanitas are more consistent in sizing than the last few years worth of Danskos that I have tried. I have both and like them equally.
