I like Crocs, but they are too flat for me. I need a little higher heel to be comfortable.

Anyone know of any shoes like Crocs, but with a higher heel?

I love the Cherokee shoes I'm wearing, but replacment insoles are not available, and I can't find any other insoles that are made from the same material.

I don't know for sure, but try checking out Zappos.com. I see many walking shoes and sneakers that are great. I recently obtained a pair of Nautica walking shoes for casual wear that really do the trick. You can search for shoes that have removable insoles, and you can phone them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for guidance.

have you tried quarks? My dh bought a pair for me and I LOVE them! Feather light with a good sized heel and really good arch support.

Crocs is also branching out, and they now make shoes with a heel. Saw it in Rolling Stone magazine the other day. You might want to check out their website to see what they're offering now.

I saw someone the other day wearing what appeared to be Z-coil clogs. They were the most awkward-looking shoes I've ever seen, but must have been comfortable.

I chuckle every time I see Z-coils. Makes me think of the Seinfeld episode with Kramer.

Z-Coils are literally like walking on springs---they feel FABULOUS!! But I don't like heels of any kind, and I was terrified of getting the coil part hung up on something and falling, so I've never bought a pair. They are also heavy and quite expensive, and yes, if truth be told, they're about the ugliest shoes I've ever seen. Even Crocs are better looking than these things!

Crocs makes an entire line of shoes. Google them and check out their website. They aren't readily available in stores..but I believe they DO make them.

Thanks, all.

I tried Z coils in the past, they run really narrow and are very rigid. Very heavy, as well. I found them to be very uncomfortable.

I've tried Quarks in the past, as well. Too narrow, but I hear they make them wider now.

That's my problem- very wide, very tender feet.
