well, you're in school to become a mechanical engineer. i wouldn't hire you simply because of that, no matter how great your resume was. that says to an employer that you plan to leave soon. maybe your time would be better spent applying to mechanical engineering jobs in anticipation of graduation?

if you still want suggestions... the clinical experience area has too many words. you only need to list nassau once, not repeatedly. and if you were there from 5/08-5/08, just put 5/08.

you don't need to put LPN after licensed practical nurse, that's redundant.

in the cover letter, "In addition" shouldn't be capitalized.

    good luck!

I agree. The fact that you are currently pursuing a bachelor's in another field and not nursing suggests to the interviewer that you're not really interested in nursing, and it doesn't make you look that attractive to employers IMO. If you are in fact looking for a nursing job, leave the info about the engineering degrees off the resume. You can always address it in the interview if you wish.

Also, I would suggest you have someone proofread for grammar and punctuation.

    Best of luck!
