Licensure number on a resume?

  1. 0 Hi! I'm attending a new graduate open house. Is it necessary to put my licensure number on my resume?

I do not put my license number on my resume. The resume sometimes goes all over the place. It is not necessary for the employer to have your license number until they are seriously considering you and they want to verify your license, so no reason to put it out there any earlier. Some people go so far to protect their identity as to leave off all personal data, other than their name. I can certainly understand their caution.

Resume, not needed, generally. Job application, usually requested, needed.
