ACLS on resume before class or only after?

I am taking ACLS in 2 weeks. I have an interview tomorrow. Can I put this on my resume? Should it go on my cover letter? Or should I just mention it in the interview???

I have other certifications pending as well, but again, these are all within the next two weeks. This interview caught me off guard!

Also, do I need to bring a cover letter to the interview? How many?

You can always put ACLS expected with date. That way they know you are getting it!

I wouldn't worry about it for the interview. Likely they won't even mention it. They know that you'll get it as needed.

Don't bother bringing cover letters to the interview.

Thanks. I went ahead and printed it without the ACLS on the advice of a few other friends. I am interviewing for a tech position, and not an RN one, since I won't graduate for a few more months. (The ACLS class is for one of my classes, we get course credit and something to put on our resume!)

I figure since it's truly not pertinent to my PCT position, I will include it on my new grad resume only, which I will begin sending out in less than 3 months! (EXCITING!!!)

Thanks for your help!!!

Wish me luck on this interview. This unit would be a DREAM unit to work on, and I just hope the staff is as great as the unit and that they want me to work with them, as a tech, and as a nurse in the very near future!
