I'm glad at least one VI person gonna b there. I haven't found housing yet...I'm looking at areas near the train or right near the school that is walking distance. When r u planning on making the trip there?

Are you going to take a car? Im looking for areas more closer to the school. I want to be as close to the school as I can. I want to make a trip this month. I emailed a few landlords about some apts I saw online. I have some pics. But. IDK. I guess I would have to see them in person.

No I'm not taking a car. I want something close to school or on a train line so I wouldn't need a car. I haven't actively looked for housing as in calling around yet. I figure it would be much easier to just go and see what I come up with after walking around a bit.

So do you already have a degree? I have some classes, but not many. Are you doing the ADN or BSN?

I have 118 credits...not completely finished my bachelors....I have all my generals except the spanish class....I want to do the accelerated ADN. I can get a job at the hospital with an ADN and then do an online RN-BSN.

    Thanks FeMaMaFutureRN

StCroixFutureNurse, the hospitals that I know for sure that they've used are Auxilio Mutuo, the VA, Centro Medico, HIMA in Caguas, and for Psychosocial I went to San Juan Capestrano. Boy was that an adventure LOLLLLLLL

Are there any Entrance Test? Such as the TEAS or HESI to get into Inter?

I will be attending in the Fall if anyone wants to chat. This is my second time there :/ First time I couldn't afford another trimester but I've got money saved up just in case.

If you go there you can literally get accepted and sign up for nursing classes the same day. That's what I did but it was a lot easier since I had my lovely mother whose a native Puerto Rican and knows how to get things done. I'm glad their ADN program is now accredited.. I may just go to finish that and do a ADN-MSN or ADN-BSN online program back home!

Are you going back to Inter? Do you have to take like a entrance exam to get into the nursing program? Such as the TEAS or the HELIS???

Hopefully WordTravelingYogi will chime in here. She's a friend of mine who lives where a lot of the students live. I think it's called Las Cumbres or something like that. It's within walking distance for sure. If you talk to "E" in the International Students office he can help you find good housing. He is SUPER nice--even gave some students tours of the campus and took some to see housing. That's one thing I can say about the school, they may be laid back (as in not getting things accomplished fast), but they are the nicest professors that I have ever encountered. We have went to breakfast with one of our professors a few times. They're more like friends/mentors than strict professors. There are a few that are super hard and strict, but even they are nice and truly awesome people. Also, you go through the program with the same classmates, so you build a very strong bond. When I went to college in Orlando it was a very impersonal experience. The professors had so many students and they really didn't seem to care. Plus, the students didn't care much about getting to know each other. It's a whole different experience here in PR.

I am extremely happy with my journey at La Inter so far

I have another question. Sorry. LOL. I have like 3 classes done. My 2 English and my Math. How long does it take to complete the ADN program. From start to finish.
