Hi Guys, I have a problem with my ATT and passport appointment schedule.

I registered in pearson vue on may 20 2010, after a few days i received my ATT and my Test Validity dates is from May 21 2010 to August 19 2010. The problem is i don't have a passport yet and my scheduled appointment for passport application is on August 10 2010, they say that my passport will be released after 10 working days. Can i take the exam without a passport, by the way the state I choose is Commonwealth Board of Nurses in Northern Mariana Islands.

Doesn't matter which state you applied to you need to meet pearsonvue acceptable ID and looking at the pearsonvue website only acceptable ID outside the US is passport. http://www.vue.com/nclex/bulletin_2010.pdf

I would get in touch with them immediately to see if you can get your ATT dates adjusted to allow you time to obtain the necessary ID. Good luck.

Thanks for your comments.

Another question guys. on my ATT the last day is August 19 2010, is it the last day that i can take the exam or is it the last day that i can schedule my exam, my aunt said who took the exam last 2 years that i can still schedule my exam on september 2010, i really have a big problem, the passport agency does not allow me to adjust my appointment date.

I think it is the last day you can take your exam, you could always ring and check with pearsonvue

According to the NCSBN, in the Northern Mariana Islands you can use a driver's license as your ID.

Read #7, section A. It defines the acceptable forms of ID in the various parts of the world where NCSBN tests. Hope this helps! :)

Looking at the link it has to be a US driving license therefore if not already in the US and have US ID then the passport is the only acceptable ID
