Re: Waiting on Ivy Tech acceptance letters thread
I have a very interesting story to share about my experience with Columbus today. My husband got home before me and got the mail today. I was waiting on the phone as he opened my letter from Ivy Tech. It was a rejection letter.

I was absolutely crushed, but I really felt like there should be an explanation. I had a score of 200 - 3 A's, 1 B and an 87 on the TEAS. So, after I pulled myself together, I went over to the school and asked about my letter. Long story short, they had not transferred my credit for English from IU. Once I straightened out the problem, I was in!

Talk about a rollercoaster! Moral of the story: If you don't get in, don't give up hope. It never hurts to ask and make sure there wasn't a mistake. She informed me they had miscalculations on at least 2 others. Also, for those who were wondering, the lowest to get in the Columbus program had a 198 and they had 190 applicants.
Congrats to all the rest who got into Columbus today. Maybe we should get together and meet before orientation? That way we start the program off with friends.
