Indy is having an info session on Aug. 25th at 2pm. I think I will go, just to hear about any new stuff that they've done since the last time I went to an info session last Nov. For example, I know they are now doing some summer classes. I figure it can't hurt to go to the session right before applying so I have all the most current info. If anyone else wants to go, let me know!

You're going to an Indy one? I thought you were applying to Terre Haute and Greencastle maybe?

Fear of getting a B in Anatomy. It's gonna be close. lol

So I'm applying at Terre Haute, Bloomington, and Indy. I MIGHT apply to Columbus as well if my scores end up on the cusp. = )

Well then we'll have to meet up outside the auditorium where they do the info session so we can sit together!

I am so hoping I can get something worked out with a babysitter to go to the info session with you two in August! Can't hurt to go twice, just to make sure they get it on record if nothing else.

On a side note, has anyone taken the TEAS yet? I took it yesterday and I have to admit it was not quite as bad as I had envisioned. It sure does cover a lot though, wow!

I thought the TEAS was not as hard as the practice book, so therefore I thought the practice book was a good study tool.

I was happy with my TEAS results. I scored an 87, which would have been good enough for last semester's program in Indy, assuming all A's were received, and that the applicant was in region. That being said, I will probably retake the test. While I am not so sure that I can increase the score, I will at least give it a try.

The test itself covers a wide range of things. Math, Reading, Science and English; All of which cover a variety of areas. I found the Science area the most challenging, as you are tested in 4 different areas of science, (Life, Chemical, Physical and Anatomy) plus scientific reasoning and general science.

Unlike some others, I did find the book useful. I had seen similar questions from the test in the book. Most people however, prefer the online versions of the test to study by. I have not accessed those yet, but hope to before I retake.

Hope I answered your question! Where do you plan to apply?
