Ivy Tech South Bend Help Me!!

Hi all... I am planning to attend Ivy Tech in South Bend starting in August. I'm waiting for some paperwork to go through (transcripts and such). I would love some advice from ANYONE about this program. I have a BA in English from IUSB; I graduated in August 2008. Unfortunately, this is kind of a nowhere degree as far as getting a job goes, so I put a lot of thought into "What if I could do it all over again?"

I have been doing a lot of reading and researching this summer on the nursing profession, and I'm really excited to be starting on this career path! By looking at the curriculum, if Ivy Tech accepts all my IUSB coursework (and I don't know why they wouldn't, my grades were very good) all I need to take are ANP 101-102 and an additional science course in order to start the nursing program. I have been brushing up on my math and science knowledge to prepare for the TEAS exam.

My question is, how hard is it to get into the ASN program in South Bend? How many people apply, and how many do they accept? Will I have to wait to apply for the program for Fall '10?

Thanks in advance for all replies... I appreciate all the advice I can get.
