Ivy Tech Sellersburg Students PreReq ? Anyone get a B?

I am going to Ivy Tech and I have some transfer credits from JCC. One of my prereqs is English 101 which I had received a B on. I have been reading about some students with 4As and some with one B getting in with a decent TEAS score. Would you suggest taking over my English? I would hate to redo it but if it holds me back from getting in the program I think I should do it. Anyone get in the program with a B?

If you have the time I would retake it. Its worth getting an A in...just to try to secure yourself as much as possible.

I got in to the ASN program fall 2009 with 3 A's and a B in english. It's hard to say as every semester the entrance score cut-off is different but I would say it's doable. I was surprised that i got in. I was planning on retaking it but went ahead and applied before anyway.

Well, I think I will at least try and apply if I dont get in I will retake it. What did you get on your entrance test? If you don't mind me asking?

i cant remember for sure but i think it was 85. from what i understand the cutoffs have ranged from 190-205 the last several years. but even less for LPN obviously
