Ivy Tech 'Fall 2010' Applicants

by Emmi7

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for those of us planning on applying by April 1st....
Has anyone taken the TEAS yet? Where are you with your pre-reqs? What campus are you applying to?

I am planning on taking the TEAS in December, so I have enough time to retake it and this is my first semester at Ivy Tech. I'm taking APHY 101, ENGL 111, and PSYC 101 all this semester and I will complete APHY 102 next semester. I am planning on applying to Indy.

And good luck to all the Spring 2010 applicants! Hope everyone gets in!!!

I applied for the Spring '10 program, so hopefully I'll get in and won't have to apply for the Fall '10 program! If I don't get in, I'll be looking like this little guy -->

Good luck pezamistik! I really hope I get in next year, reading through these posts on here I have gotten really nervous and I still have to take the TEAS. I purchased the study guide but I haven't even read through it yet! I am taking APHY 101 online the second 8 weeks this semester but I think I will do 102 on campus next semester.

Thanks Emmi7! Good luck to you, too!
Reading some of the other posts on here has gotten me quite nervous, as well. Originally, I was only going to apply to the RN program, but after becoming a bit discouraged reading the other posts, I decided to also apply to the LPN program. Maybe only getting accepted to the LPN program wouldn't be such a bad thing. I would be able to start working sooner, which would be a definite plus since my daughter and I just moved into an apartment with my fiancee. I'm sure he wouldn't mind me chipping in a little more towards rent and other expenses! Right now, I feel like such a free-loader! Of course since I've got one of the best guys ever, he assures me that it's okay because taking this time to go back to school now will pay off for all three of us in the long run. I still feel like a mooch!

I'm applying for fall 2010, too, Emmi! This is my second semester, my first was this summer and I took Eng111 and Psyc101 then. This semester I'm taking APHY101 along with a couple of coreqs (Comm102 and Psyc201) and another 'fun' class (Medical Coding) LOL. I'll be taking APHY 102 along with Micro next semester. Maybe something else, I'm not sure.

I'm applying in Evansville. Good luck!

I will be enrolling in the Fall of '10 as well. Currently taking APHY 101, COMM 101, MATH 118, and PSYC 101 at Fort Wayne. Fort Wayne is where I will be enrolling for Nursing as well. Good luck to everyone

Thanks, Bill! I wasn't sure if there would be any other Fall 10 students around here already! Are your classes f2f? How's the going? So far, all of my classes, with the exception of this coding class, have been online and I really enjoy that. I like doing the work on 'my' time and figured I'd better enjoy it before I have to take nursing classes! ;-)

How's Math118, btw? I think I'm taking it next semester along with aphy102 and micro....but I'm a little nervous about that load since Math isn't my strong point.

Hi! So far math 118 isn't hard at all. I thought it might be since the only set theory (What we are covering first) I completed was a brief overview when I got my IT degree. All of my classes are at the north campus or the coliseum campus, no online classes. I did a few online classes with my other degree and didn't care for them, mainly because things around the house kept taking my attention lol.
