HAHAHAHA call me lame but Ivy Tech has a Love, Romance, and Relationship course:
Interactive course examining the key elements of healthy relationships. Explores the main problems that damage relationships. Presents research findings on successful and unsuccessful relationships. Examines how couples can improve intimacy, romance, and emotional connection. Explores the impact of one¿s emotional and relationship history on current and future romantic relationships. Presents practical, scientific-based skills for improving relationships.

I actually might take that next semester to fill up my schedule! It actually looks like it could be interesting

KGLE-
WOWOW! Seriously though, it does sound like a nice little filler class. When and IF I get into the nursing program I know the last two semesters I will need some extra classes per fin aid reqts and was planning on taking Spanish definitely and now I think I will add that to the list as well.

Question...has everyone who is planning on applying by April 1 already attended the info session? I attended one in July but I think I want to go again to one closer to me turning in my app because I am so scared that I will apply and they will say they have no record of me attending one lol.
Also what exactly is on the applications? I mean do we have to write an essay on why we want to be a nurse or anything like that?

No essay, just informational stuff. I went to a session in 2008, but want to go to a session that's more updated so I am going to go to one. Looks like I will have to go to the one in November since the next one falls about an hour before class starts. I may try that one...but I am not sure how long they usually run and if I can get away with sneaking out right before 2.

Thanks!
I have class on Thursdays too at 2pm so I won't be going to the October session, I might go to the one in November or just wait until 2010

I had to register online for a session here in Evansville and it's not until November! I registered in May. Crazy, yeah?

I've had three of my Spring classes set up since the end of summer (yeah, call me anal lol) and those were APHY102, ENGL211, and MATH118. They are all 16 week courses, but I'm really considering taking the English course in 8 weeks. I took ENGL111 this past summer and passed with flying colors. I'm kind of worried about the math class, though. I really have to work hard to even get a B in math classes, lol, and I'm very, very glad that they are prereqs!

Oh and I'm a little worried because they don't offer APHY201 at my campus. I really want to take that class, but I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to do it now. :-(

Kara, the last info session I went to, they took OVER an hour just to get through the intro crap by the admissions office person and the career services counselor person, so it's probably not worth your time to go to the one an hour before your class. It was ridiculous because stupid people kept asking questions very specific to their situations and taking up time. I was so annoyed because I had to leave only about halfway through the nursing chair's part. The only reason I went was to hear about summer classes and all they said was that at least one summer's worth of classes would be mandatory for the nursing program now. If they said anything else after I left I missed it but I think MistyMiss said they didn't say much else about it.
