Yeah, next semester I am planning on taking APHY 102, MATH 118, COM 102, and ENGL 211... I am hoping they won't be too bad that way I can concentrate mostly on APHY 102!

I guess I was reading it like...If there was a tie then they would take those other classes into consideration. Now I am even more confused to what that whole paragraph even means. I guess I will just continue to take everyone on this sites advice and just focus on the 4 classes as well as the TEAS.
Oh yeah on the TEAS, I took the ATI Practice Test online without studying and did absolutely HORRIBLE on the Science and the Math portion regarding the metric conversions. English and Reading I did really well on but I was shocked at the Science...I did poorly on everything but Scientific Reasoning. I am glad I took the pretest though so I can at least see what I need to focus on.

I remember them talking about this at the Info session...If there is a tie, they will take the other classes into consideration. If it is still a tie after that, they will take the TEAS score...

I took the ATI practice test online too...My score on the 'real' test was much better than the online practice. (hope that makes you feel a little better )

Emmi,

Have you already signed up for your math and English classes? I'm taking those same ones and maybe we can be in the same class? That would be cool I'm also taking aphy102 with FH out of Kokomo (I think?). At least, so far. I'm hoping to get some good information about instructors from people who have taken 102 online.

Hey Taranator-
I am currently signed up for ENGL 211 for 16 weeks (CRN-37604) & MATH 118 for 16 weeks (CRN-37683) & COMM 102 for 8 weeks (CRN-36617) I am wondering if I should do the full 16 weeks for English and Math though. I know I want to take a full 16 weeks for the APHY 102 but I am not sure if I want to do it online or not...I am kind of nervous to take it either way lol. This semester I had to take APHY 101 (starting 2nd 8 weeks) due to scheduling and my wanting to be able to apply by the April 1st deadline.

Don't do 102 online. Seriously. Its SO much better in the classroom.
I took 118 in either 8 or 10 weeks and I think Comm was the same. I tried doing ENGL 111 in a shortened term and fell really behind, so I would suggest 16 weeks for English. JMO though.

I have no idea what I am going to take other than, APHY 101, ENGL 211, and maybe PSYC...I need 2 classes in addition to anatomy and english!

Hey KGLE- They were sending out emails to some people last week advising they could register early. So then I went into Campus Connect and did a search and there were some classes available, although there are still a lot that say "NR"

Also thanks for the advice on COMM 102, I am going to change that around. I am taking ENGL 111 now, 16 weeks, because I know myself and writing papers do not get along (although I did get my 1st paper back and got an A-WOO!)
MATH I may change to an 8 week session, but I believe when I was registering the 16 week was the only one showing open. I may even take 211 on campus as well just because English is not my strongest subject.

Yeah I just checked my email. They are so dumb...the email thanked me for my interest in Ivy Tech and advised me to fill out my FAFSA, take the skills assessment, etc lol. I have been a student for almost 2 years now!

Looks like Lawrence still isn't open to register for, but I am getting my online courses scheduled as we speak!
