first semester nursing schedule-ivy tech

I am starting the nursing program at Ivy tech this january (YIPPEE) and I was wondering if someone could give me an idea of how the schedule is? I am trying to find a day care provider, and want to be able to give an idea of the hours...how does it break down (I will go full time) is it 4 days a week, 8-5? if someone has time to break down their schedule by day, that would be great!!! thanks!

also, I have all of my gen eds finished for the ASN, so will it take me 3 0r 4 semesters to complete the ASN program...I keep hearing different stories...thanks!

I think there are various possibilities of what your schedule can look like.

I know 2 people who started in Aug @ the Columbus Campus....For the 1st 5 weeks, one went 5 days a week, at least 4 hours most of the days; however, the other person only went 3 or 4 days...They have some 'morning' schedules & some 'afternoon' schedules...Starting Week 6 of the semester, your schedule will be something different because clinicals will begin...

From my understanding, the schedules will be handed out at the 1st Orientation...

All the "unknowns" are driving me crazy too!

The ASN program is a 4 semester program not including pre reqs/co reqs.
