    Hello fellow nurses! Wondering how kayexelate is administered rectally (new nurse here). I looked online and one resource stated it is mixed with 50-100mL of saline and administered via rectal tube, then followed with a cleansing enema after the patient poops. Is this on the right track?

    It's been a while, but that sounds right. Administer, clamp for an hour (?) then let it out again.
