metformin and CT contrast

  1. 0 I know that metformin is supposed to be held after administration of IV contrast. Does the same apply to patients taking oral contrast? The info I gathered from the net seems to indicate its just the IV contrast, but I'm still not clear on this...

    I use to work in CT scan, it only applies to IV contrast.
