what is on transitions test/chronicity

i will be taking my transitions ec test. There seems to be so much info, what do i really need to know. also studying chronicity now. Any tips for that test would be great. Have been using TCN modules and getting straight A's even though i find that they don't always have everything i need thank goodness for my LPN school. I took Micro , was the only general ed class i needed all rest of prereq's done. i also took health and safety which seemed like basic common nursing sense. I read for two months, took the test and realized i could've taken it without reading anything. Is transitions and chronicity like that, just common nursing sense? Or are these tests that require more study time?

There is more to those tests than the basics. Suggest you start with the suggested readings from the EC study outline. As a minimum, the suggested reading will give you the content areas covered by the exams.

agreed with caliotter...the EC free content guides are your best bet to know if you hit all the info you need to know for the exams

Take the practice exams, will also help you determine the content and if you are "ready" for the actual exam. I started taking the first practice test early in my studies, then the second test as a I got closer to the exam. good luck. K
