Wow - that sounds great. I did my RN to BSN to MSN with UofP and felt that I got a great education. Good luck. They are a very viable school and have a good reputation.

Are you attending completely online? Do you HAVE to take a class every 6 weeks?
    Thank you!

I am currently in the program for the fourth week now and I am enjoying the program so far. The advisors and instructors are accessible and go out their way often to help. I am attending totally online. Your first class is three weeks-Intro to the program to prepare you for the online experience and required formats of presentations and papers. Mostly group participation, this accounts for like 60-70% of the grade to help us with the multidisciplinary teams we encounter in the work place. Then the rest of the courses are 5-6 weeks. Very fast paced, but very educational and enjoyable for me. The advisors and instructors are there by email or phone if needed, if you feel you are falling behind or do not understand something. Peers are very diverse in nursing experiences and can be helpful also.

Classes(courses) on line are 5-6 weeks avg. The best thing about online is it is flexible to go to class at anytime, ex 12 am if you work 3-11p. The program is two years fulltime. I think that is what you meant?

Thanks for the reply! I spoke to an advisor last night and she was very helpful, but somewhat vague regarding one's ability to not attend full-time or take every class consecutively. Any thoughts? I would like to be able to go on vacations and have some flexibility. How much time are you studyig/preparing each week? Are you using their financial aid? It is sooo expensive.
    Thank you!
