I'll look into the name on the website and hopefully I'll get that phone call or email before Wednesday, if not I might have to look into re-applying in October. Any advice?? OU BSN program is a fully accredited program, but what does fully accredited mean?

Also on the BRN, it shows that OU is in partnership with Southwestern College and SDSU. What does this exactly mean?

I am concerned that if I go to OU, and apply for my master's that some colleges will not accept my degree from OU because it is not accredited by WASC or another type of accreditation.

I emailed someone from USD who said if the school is based in the West, they require your BSN from a WASC and CCNE accredited school. She didn't know if OU had either.
OU is accredited by NLN. There are several other accreditations that a university may have. But, unfortunately OU does not seem to be accredited by WASC (as stated on their website). USD indicates the BSN needs to be from an accredited school, but it doesn't indicate what type of accreditations are required. If they require the school to be accredited by WASC, then they may not accept OU's BSN degree. You should talk to one of the counselors at OU to see if they are working on any additional accreditations.

I just happened to be in the neighborhood yesterday and decided to stop by the campus to see what it looks like. I definitely know why people are saying the parking will be quite an ordeal. TINY!

Is there anyone else who paid for the CPR via paypal? I did and never received confirmation from the lady. Guess I'll find out more tomorrow

how embarrassing! I emailed BRN (Board of Registered Nursing) to see if both Glendale and San Diego sites were fully accredited and they forwarded to an OU rep and the OU rep was the one who emailed me back saying that it was. So good news is that they are, bad news is that they know I was the one who questioned it... lol not soo bad right?

Well, Open House was quite an experience yesterday. I felt like I was drinking from a fire hose!!

Does anyone happen to know when student orientation will be? I didn't hear them say.

Oh yeah....are there any specific shoes for clinical we are supposed to buy. Can we have lace up shoes rather than the slip ons? I bet they will specify all of this in orientation, but I am buying them now....as well as a steth. Knowing my luck I will buy the wrong things
