The Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing

Has anyone ever attended this school or know of anyone who has. What kind of reputation does it have? After reading their website I was very interested in their "community focus" and combined CNM/WHNP program. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Khadijah! I am also interested in this school. Unfortunately, I am not enrolled there so I cannot give you much info about the program. I do know that the school has a excellent reputation. I have personally had care from one of their CNM graduates. She was very caring, skilled and professional during my 2nd difficult pregnancy. Also, I have looked into other MSN distance programs. But I am also interested in Frontier's community focus as well as the focus on caring for the needy. Their tuition is also less than some of the other programs. I hope that some graduates of the program will respond to this post.

Just a thought....you might want to ask in the OB-GYN forum as well. That forum seems to be very active and someone there may be able to answer your question. I am interested in hearing the answer myself.

I don't know about now, but at one time, this school was THE place to learn midwifery and womens health.............
