Question about CCConline or another online school??

Hi everyone,

Im just starting my online req's to get into the school I want. I need several classes still. I was thinking about CCConline. but I have several questions to anyone who has gone there perferably, or another school.

1. I am looking for a school that is 100% online (includes labs, tests (perferably not proctored, lol), etc..).

2. Also, perferably some type of fast track or shortened length of time class (not always do-able),

3. Also how easy it was. Some are harder than others

4. And lastly, has anyone had problems transfering credits from here to schools in California?

I actually took Anatomy and Micro at this school and I loved it. It is expensive but I did everything at home including labs. I worked hard but got As and took them in the same time. I am also in California and my school accepts these classes. I guess you need to check with your school. what school are you considering?

im not rich, but im not worried about the money. i would rather pay a little more for peace of mind and simplicity of a class if its really that easy. What about the testing, finals, etc...can u tell me about them and how the work with CCC?

I took A&P II through MGCCC and it is all online. It was an 8 week class, but I think they offer it full term too.

It was a lot of work, but I was also taking Micro with it.

There were a couple weeks where we had to read 3 chapters, have lab quizzes, lecture quizzes, and an exam.

2 of the exams are proctored-the midterm and the final.

I would def take the class again through that college. I am also in California and the nursing school I am going to attend is accepting this class.

Btw it doesn't mention on my transcript or anything that this was an online class, but I would def check with the schools you are going to apply to.

The class is a bit pricey, but it is well worth it. I think I ended up having to pay $815.

If you want to know more let me know because I just finished this class in May.

About your classes from CCC, can you tell me about the testing? Also, are the classes on a quarter or semester system. Are they accelerated, 8-10 weeks vs. the semester long??

Can you please tell me which school in California accepted A n P from CCCOnline? I also live in Ca, near Palm Springs, but most of the schools I've talked to just don't accept online prereq courses. Specifically, I've been in contact with College of the Desert in Palms Springs, Mount San Jacinto Junior College/Menifee Campus, and San Bernardino Valley Nursing School. I need to take these classes online because of some unreliable transportation issues. I just need to find a few schools here in California that accept CCCOnline, even one school would be a great help!

I am actually starting a program in San Diego which also has a location in Glendale. It is made by Oklahoma University with Sharp Hospital for people with a BA. So it is only 14 months.

Im in san diego also. The local community colleges here im enrolled in but its a LONG process to complete classes here. When you took your classes at CCConline, and got your transcripts, did they say "online" at all? Have you had any problems as far as schools recognizing the legitimacy of CCC or its accredidation or anything?

I did run ccconline by them and I was fine....I applied to only one school...I loved ccconline....I dont remember if they said online I believe it did not but you can always call them...

Ocean County College is another great school for online prerequisite nursing courses. I took A&P, A&P II and just completed their Microbiology Online course this summer. Over half the students in all my classes were from out-of-state!

I think online is a great way to go if you have a very busy life especially with a full-time job!
