Lisa Arends notes are good, but reading the textbook is a must. Nursing concepts are more towards application, and reading the textbook should remind you of how it has been applied in different scenarios.

I'm sure there are students who have, but personally I wouldn't recommend it, and I wouldn't risk going into the exam relying only on someone else's notes.

I would suggest using Lisa Arends and Studygroup 101 as supplements of what you need to know. Depending on what kind of nursing you are currently practicing, you may get by with a skills manual and a Med/Surg text, or a Fundamentals like Kozier. The maternal-newborn text is very pricey, an earlier addition by the same author is available at amazon.com. You won't be able to use the study guide to direct you to chapters, the editors changed the order of info in that maternal newborn text, but the info is there to find in the index. Same with psych; those texts are outrageous, get a used one. Don't try to rely on another person's notes; she/he may have had different learning/content needs than you.

Not to mention the notes are not 100% complete, you have to understand what you are expected to know to understand some of what the notes mean. Because they are just that, notes. They are not complete thoughts.

And I'm not sure I would want any nurse taking care of me that just memorized a bunch of notes rather than taking the time to learn the material.
