I am stuck. I dont really have the money to finish test #4 right now, and havent had the energy to study. I worked over 80 hours last week and am scheduled to work 72 hours this week. I know the end result of finishing is more money, but I AM TIRED!!!!!!!!!!! please send some encouragement and prayers my way!

Prayers coming your way.
Maybe if all else fails, you can use your tax rebate to get going again with your studies?

Prayers and keep going- take a vitamin and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Maybe after next week things will slow down, and you'll get back to it. Just think of it this way- your ahead of me- wish I was 27 and on #4!!!!!!
I'm 41 and finally getting to it, been working my tush off in LTC 23 years, doing same job- less pay!!!!!! You'll finish and be making way more dinero, for the same job your doing already!
So try and get some rest, eat well and know your way ahead of the game.:nuke:
Thank you both very much......... I appreciate you.

You can do. Just think what's at the end of the road. What helped push me along was scheduling the exam ahead of time, that way I had a deadline and knew I had to be ready by then, which pushed me to study. I could always reschedule if I absolutely felt I needed to. Worked well for me. Good luck!

The end result is not all about more money, it's that glorious RN behind your name and the accomplishment of getting there. (I'm not bagging on LPNs/LVNs--I am one myself--it's just it's the goal here.) You SHOULD be tired after that kind of work week. Don't be stressed from not studying. Heck, I wouldn't study if I was working that much. You'll hit it hard when you are not working your tail off. Consider yourself studying in a hands-on sort of way when you are at work. You see the sequelae of the things you are reading about in the text, making the readings come to light, reinforcing what you are learning.
There are a bunch of us in this "together." You can do it!

Take some time for yourself; when you're ready, get back to it. It's not a race ... Excelsior will still be there when you're not so exhausted!! *hugs*

Just hang in there and take it as you can.- just don't quit!!
I am probably the slowest one to go through the nursing concepts
but- I just finished them this month! Even with working and many other responibilities you just keep striving every moment you can work on them.
you can do it:typing
sending prayers your way:nuke:
