Great!! You're inspiring me to get off my behind and get moving on this. Now belt out that CPNE!

I need to get the package to apply for the CPNE!

WHAT a PITA to print out the manual! Staples won't because it has the copyright protection all over the CD! And my little LExmark would have an epileptic seizure if I troed to print the whole thing off of it. I finally found a private printer who did it for HALF what Stales wanted. If they're gonna save money on the printing (Excelsior, I mean) they HAVE to let you get it printed! Oy!

I got up this morning and grabbed my med/surg text then I remembered! YAY!

Staples did it for me, no problem. However, they were WAY too expensive. I found out later that if I'd gone across the street to OfficeMax, I could have had it done for about 1/3 the price. Oh well ... I'll live. Heh.

Congrats, Sue!

For the benefit of a guy who has been out of the CPNE app loop for a couple of years, is this an application packet or the study guide that you guys are having to print out? They used to send us the "carjack"/study guide and the application packet, but even the app wasn't more than a few pages at that time.

It's the study guide. 502 pages of it!

Ah, that's a real pain! Bad enough to have to lug that thing around and memorize it front to back, but printing it out yourself seems rough.

As I said, my poor li'l Lexmark would've rolled over and died.

there is just no effective way to study this stuff from the cd, so what does ec expect you to do if you can't get it printed out. i could print it out on mine but it would cost more cause i would have to buy the paper then buy a toner.. 7.50+ 90= to much
