kaplan or WGU
Register Today!- by Tschinault Jan 27Anyone have an opinion about the WGU RN to BSN program or the Kaplan RN to MSN program? I want to get my Nurse practitioner eventually. Anyone do any research/comparisons on these programs?

Jan 28 by kloneI know nothing about Kaplan. One thing you should be aware of with WGU is their grading system is pass/fail, which means that a pass is equivalent to a B/3.0. So you should be aware of the GPA requirements of whichever NP program you're interested in, and how competitive they are. Other than that issue, I LOVE WGU, they're super inexpensive and allow you to go as fast as you want through the program. Many people have done the RN-BSN program in six months. -

Thank you so much for the info. I have a BA in something else so I am hoping to get my BSN done quickly. The plus about Kaplan is I can do some of my MSN courses while doing my BSN since I have most of the electives.Kaplan is a bit more expensive... - Jan 28 by kloneHave you looked into WGU's RN-MSN program?
