Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Nursing Students Online Learning

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

Sounded like the 2 course I did not have to do, Ethics and community Health..were the best 2 to miss, lol

Any CLC avoided is a bullet dodged. :wacky:

I was the only one who did not agree on our take on assisted suicide, I took 2 minutes to cave....and that was while i was writing my response. It was an assignment not a real choice. What was funny was in the end all of it ended up being for the other point of view in the second paper except one of the interviewees. I laughed about that!

Well, thanks everyone, I think! I can't wait for this project (to be over). We actually have several people who are stepping up to head up the project. I am excited about that, at least we are going in the right direction. Since we don't have a written assignment due in week 2 maybe we will get started and not make it a last minute project.

Glad to see you around PrismRN. I hope the capstone is getting better for you. It has sounded like a mess!

It is Sunday night and I have the last week assignments completed as well as the discussion questions for Statistics.... What am I going to do all week? Too bad the next class doesn't open till Friday, I could get started on those DQs.

Thanks, I feel like I'm a hermit! So, week TWO of Cap is in the bag (5 assignments later...this is no joke, man). Not even gonna look at this week's DQs, I need a mental break. Mondays have now turned into my Fridays, seems like the only day I can breathe without the pressure of something being due in 2 seconds.

Beauty? Winter? You ready?? Tomorrow's the big day! Gentlemen... START YOUR ENGINES!

Prism, I'm trying to breathe right now! I just finished reading the forum (yes I ran out of there on Friday!)

Pray tell....how is there 5 assignments in week 2? I looked, I just saw the 2 DQs and the one assignment posted. I'm going to freak out by your answer so go easy!

Okay I just looked at week two, seriously I had not seen but one assignment. Now there are two assignments and the two DQs. Breathe....

No no no, I meant that it's the end of week 2 and I've completed 5 assignments TOTAL (3 in wk 1, 2 in wk 2).

I can't believe this Prof overlaps her Cap classes; I already know she's the bomb (the good kind), but now I think she's SUPER-WOMAN-PROF! I cannot imagine all that incessant reading/grading and answering freak-out questions from those of us who are freak-out-predisoposed (:sarcastic:) and still manages to have my papers graded within 2 days? AND she's the nicest person ever in the history of ever?

I needed to her that Prism. If I didn't have a dislocated rib I'd,lol. ;) No great story just reached for my lunch bag out of the truck quickly so I could run in and do...more homework.

Prism, I am more scared than anything. I looked into the class Friday then quickly vacated after all the links, printouts, writing LOL Then today I went in and read everything for week one posted, printed out everything (like 80pgs give or take), and posted my bio. The instructor seems to be very nice, helpful, and willing to help her students succeed so I'm happy about that. But at the end of the day I am still freaking out.
