I have seen this on a few post that they can only retake the exams twice now, so I sent an e-mail to the exams administrator and ask them to clarify and here is the response I got:
You are allowed to take each Nursing exam three times in a given year, and four times total. The two attempt policy only applies to students who are enrolled in our On-line Course Nursing program.
Thought this might relieve a few people!!

Thanks for the info! I am one person who believed we now only had 2 tries at an exam! I am breathing a bit easier now! I didn't know that Excelsior had any online nursing programs! Now I am eager for more info :)

it's not an "online" nursing program, it's for the online classes...like Micro you can take as an online class or as an exam...the online class cost 750 plus books, the exam 250 plus books...i opt for the exams whenever i can although i did take info lit as an online class

The RN-BSN program is online, though. There are a couple of classes that are in the exam format, but the rest are indeed online.
woops sorry Lunah you were right...i get so used to talking about the ASN i forget all about the BSN sometimes! lol
LOL ... no worries, I'm GLAD you're as focused as you are! That's why you're doing so well. :)

This question has confused many since they came out with the change to their policy.
I would agree! This was my first moment of clarity! Thanks for the info of online classes too. I have to take only one humanities credit so I have not even looked into that yet. This website is proving to be quite an amazing resource! Thanks for the info guys!
I clarified it for myself since even though I thought I aced the lifespan 3 test came out with a D then I saw the e-mail from Excelsior and freaked!!:chair: I saw a few other comments so thought I would just clarify for everyone, the less pressure the better when you have to go back and retest. Just two left, so ready for this to be over!!!
