Excelsior college completion

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

Hello all,

I live in the state of Maryland. I just found out that program (Excelsior) must be completed prior to December 31,2007, if not, the student is ineligible for licensure:angryfire . I would like to know if their is anyone out there that has takens all Nursing concepts 1-7 with in a year. If so, how did you do it?

Please help!!!

As for the question on keeping permanent residency in TX (which I would do, for the tax benefits), a lot of retirees that are RVer's, find a place that they like, who has friendly recidency laws like TX, and just get a private mailbox there (not a P.O. Box). Google it. Now with the compact states I think that this would be around the Maryland thing. Become and RN in TX and Endorse. If they don't like it they either have to put rules in place against it (which would make no sense for them to be in the compact then), or let you practice. Either way the way I look at it you're covered. I am not an attorny so you may want to speak to one for clarification of the written laws and rules. I personally wouldn't ask the board about it, b/c they would probably come up with an emergency metting to stop you dead in your tracks, but you may want to ask in a roundabout way.

txspadequeen921,

i was a studying madman. i had time off and knew i needed to get this done fast...until i ran out of $$$. i did the same with the practice tests. i did every one of the practice tests for the nc 1-7 classes. i figuered, if i pass them, i had a pretty good possiblity of passing the real test. i also did the che education cpne prep course in san jose, ca and that helped me big time with the cpne.
