Best Online LPN to RN Bridge Program

Need some advice. I would like suggestions on the best or most common LPN to RN bridge program. I got my LPN last year (by default) after taking the entire 5 semesters at a community college (I missed passing my last class by 1 point and the ADN-RN program only allows 1 attempt, after 2nd "fail" most are not allowed back in. I want to go back (and my boss is encouraging me) and get my RN. I work full-time and know that I would have to continue working. Any advice? Suggestions?

I'm hoping that most of my classes will transfer. I technically only have 1 class to take, but, I know I'll have to take the whole thing. :(

Thanks in advance for your help.

So in reading your post, do you have one more opportunity? You said after the second fail, students were out — did you fail twice or just once? If you can try once more at that college, that would be your best bet. Your RN-level credits are not likely to transfer elsewhere, as you know.

Here are some links to programs that I have collected, the last two being LPN to BSN. I did Excelsior's paramedic to RN some years ago. With all of these programs, you should really investigate if they are a good fit for you and if they are accepted in your state. I believe ISU is limited in state acceptance, and Excelsior grads are currently not eligible for licensure in California and quite a few states also require extra hours or precepted time to endorse licenses in.

Hello, did you ever find a good LPN-RN program? I just got accepted into a LPN program in NY but I am debating if I should do it and then do my RN or just go straight to RN? How do you feel about your choice to do LPN first?

CA will not accept any candidate who completed their RN program online for licensing by endorsement or exam. You need a regular brick & mortar school if you want to work in CA as an RN

Not, in any way, questioning your post, just curious about any references you might have available to review? No biggie. Thanks for your post!!!!
