Accreditation from a different region?

I have a question, which might be a stupid one lol I have been reading about the accreditation on national and regional level and I get the difference but what if an online school is regionally accredited but I dont live in that region? I live in NJ and I was looking at WGU which is regionally accredited by Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities so lets say I get a BSN from WGU and then I want to apply to a MSN brick and mortar school in NJ (and the programs in NJ are accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools would that be ok?

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but Im so confused! please help before I apply somewhere I shouldnt :)

OK so the more I think about it the more I believe it means that the regional commission of the state in which the school is located has to accredit that school, in that case NCCU and it is then "regionally accredited" for the rest of the country.... or

It shouldn't be a problem because what it's important is that the nursing program is accredited (either by the CCNE or the NLNAC). Regional accreditation is for the school as a whole and is important. At one time, WGU was accredited by 4 different regional bodies but dropped to one (the same one that accredits Brigham Young, Idaho state, and Washington State) because no school needs more than one, even if their students are in other states. I lived in Chicago when I got my MSN and I've had no problem getting into programs in Michigan and Florida because my program was accredited by the CCNE.
