I really feel sorry for this man and hope that he can find some relief from his illness from the proposed treatment.

Wow, that is SO strange, but now Im really scared, Ive had recurrent dreams about sprouting leafy twigs out of my arms and legs.
C'mon, ingelein - I would think from some of the stuff you've been thru, NOTHING would scare you!!

Well Bandit, no big bad DON, or big bad Nursing Home Or even their big bad bull dog lawyers scare me,or the big bad Social Security Administration for that matter, but becoming one with the mighty tree does kinda scare me a bit. Its true I actually did have recurrent dreams about sprouting leafy twigs , no kidding.I wonder what that means?

probably want to take him by private jet.... would you want to sit next to this guy?

: I really would! I'd love to have a good close look at everything! I find it fascinating, even though I'm sure he feels horrible to have to endure such a condition.

I wonder how heavy it is or what the texture feels like. (sorry to gross anyone out) haha

I was thinking the same thing. I want to be up close and personal.

Poor fellow. Can you imagine the ostracism?!
  8. by Cosper123
And that's just it...I wouldn't mind sitting next to him simply because he's a human being. And it's not as if by sitting next to him I would start sprouting the warts myself.

I wonder if a round of Griseofulvin would help. Used to know a doctor who treated many a rash with it and cleared them all, even when every other anti-fungal failed. I realize we're talking about a virus but if the doctor is uncertain, maybe Griseo offers hope, despite dangers to liver, etc. Risk to benefit ratio and all.

Lord o' mercy, there are some truly awful conditions in the world.

    FASCINATING!

I wanna see in real life!!

It's AMAZING what the body can do, just amazing. This, obviously is not a positive example of its abilities - but just GROWING these ... wow.

I agree the ostracism experienced by this man and his family must be awful. How wonderful that the man raised his children alone even through all that.

What's also amazing is how happy these two look in the picture. Talk about a positive attitude!

it looks remarkably similar to the jack-a-lope.

which is not a mythological creature, but a viral infection that rabbits sometimes contract, causing an outgrowth of horn like protrusions. I think it's HPV related? Can;t remember the specifics.

Really interesting. I want to see him up close. I'm fascinated and definitely not grossed out.

I get grossed out by mucus plugs though. YUCK!
