Listened to an interesting hour on talk radio this morning in the San Francisco Bay Area...
There was discussion of the major impact that reforms in health care could have on all sorts of folks.
One has to wonder if Arnie will use this to extract revenge on the nurses who protested his visits -- and what will become of other inroads CNA has made (such as lower ratios).
I wonder if we could sneak acceptance of Excelsior grads in there...

I just hope he does not plan on lowering cost off the backs of nurses. We are not the problem. CEOs and middle level managment with their golden parachuts are the problem. Middlemen who charge a fee for brokering services that could be purchased directly from the provider are the problem. Pharmaceutical companies that cause congress to pass laws that inpede our ability to bargin for cheap drugs are the problem. Understaffing and the infections and injuries it causes are another cause of high cost. I have read articles that accused CNA of being the cause of higher cost, I assure everyone that nurses are not the problem. Personally I think they are part of the solution.
