research into new test and treatments for ovarian cancer

Spread the word... I just had a girl i used to work with die from this cancer.. The only reason she went to the doctor was because her back was hurting and she felt like she was having trouble breathing.. It spread to her lungs before she even was aware of it...

two years ago, my aunt reported pain near her hip to her doctor. he diagnosed her with arthritis, and sent her on her way with a prescription to treat it.

this past june, she began having seizures. by the time it was discovered she had ovarian cancer, it had spread to her brain. it was stage IV.

treatment began, surgeries were planned, but her body rapidly weakened, her health rapidly declined. she was given four months to live in september.

she died this past sunday, october 5, 2008, at the age of 51.
