RCN: Nurse morale at ten-year low - Healthcare Republic

Three to five years ago emphasis was definitely on retention. Not as much as needed to be but it was there. Now, in last two years I have seen and felt a switch back to cost cutting. When I say felt, I mean I personally experienced the effects of cost cutting in the attitudes and treatment of my superiors.

That is in Britain. I'd like to see the numbers for the US too. I'm betting it would be even worse.
