Hello everyone. Lamazeteacher, I’m sorry to hear about your problems with the bank. It’s amazing how some people/institutions will lie to you straight to your face. You never know if the bank official had enough intelligence to understand the lines they had to memorize try to get you to empty your pockets.
Speaking of pockets, Obama knew that financial ruin was happening. That was one of the changes he planned. I will give it to you that he stopped giving the money to the banks after they wasted it but you can’t give that much money with no strings attached. What he did was basically wait until the patient had a full MI & respiratory arrest then call the NP in connect the defibrillator and say “Hey, we should pay for electricity…or batteries” Too late. I don’t know how you don’t see the crater of the financial disaster our country is in. It is WAY down deep. The same direction unemployment should go after he blew his first trillion. Instead unemployment increased passed the 8% he predicted as a max and is near 10%. OK, helping companies sell cars helped a few people, slightly. Unfortunately, a lot of dealers never got paid from the government. They actually lost money.
I know it wasn’t directly about me, but to let you know, I am not racist or a greed monger, etc. But, I did hear the blasphemy from the pulpit, when our ANA president said we all support the U.S. president’s health care bill. I love the ANA, but, please…Barack can’t even explain HIS healthcare bill. The insurance companies paid off the right people. Mandatory Health Insurance?!! In NJ that is about $10,000.00. Medicare is not broke. I will agree with you on that, but at 90, you are in a small group of people who can collect before it goes broke. I have been paying in as well, but the age was set at 65y/o to collect because people wouldn’t live much older. Things have changed. That’s because Americans refuse to realize they can live another20 minutes with the pain in their chest, left arm and trouble breathing or that the left side of their body still moves—“I’ll just relax a little and let someone else go to the hospital, I’m sure someone else is even sicker”

We do need Healthcare change. Absolutely! Unfortunately, the most powerful person in the country has NO idea how to do it correctly.

I agree we need healthcare change but we dont need the government to run it. I dont know of one program the government has been succesfull at running. Obama said we could pay for it by getting rid of the waste and fraud in medicare. Why doesnt he just get rid of the fraud and waste anyway? Does he mean he will only get rid of it if they pass government controlled healthcare?. He has been president for nine months, knows about billions of dollars in fraud and waste and hasnt acted on it yet? But if we let the government take over healthcare THEN he will go after the crooks?! GET REAL. He is lying.
