A nurse can dream...about awesome nursing

there are still hospitals in the US without private rooms?? i've only seen one situation where the rooms were semi-private in my city & that was an inpatient rehab that was in the process of being remodeled into all private rooms. i figured HIPPA had taken care of that.

i do agree about the number of visitors, i have had rooms with 20 people visiting, no lie! you can't get well when you are having to entertain 20 people milling about...i kinda wish we could be like when i was little & the entire hospital was only 2 visitors at one time.

I guess it is too bad that it is not like those Walgreens commercials and we don't live in "Perfect"
