Medical Workers Emerge as Focus in British Inquiry

Also read that some had apparenlty tried/thought to immigrate here also.

Why is it that we need so many immigrant MDs and RNs when are own citizens are trying to enroll in our own schools and find out there are just not enough professors/slots to go around??? That should be addressed immediately in my opinion. I am not even sure we need immigrant MDs or is there just not enough to work in certain areas or are payscales not enough to attract them?

Heard that in some states there are waiting lists of thousands to just get into nursing schools of our own citizens.
