now i am torn, i wholeheartedly agree with the right to die in dignity but what a way to do it.
there is far too little information in the news. did he try to initiate a care conference, did he talk to the providers about dnar status? was withdrawal of care an option? was there a palliative care consult? the way it looks now, he just went in and shot her, and that's not the way to go.
whatever that man did to or for his wife, he traumatized a lot of good people who are in the business of helping people, and i doubt any of them was left unscathed.
