Great minds think alike! The whole time I have read this post, I kept thinking about all those neat 14 or 16 g. angiocaths that we use in the ER, and they wouldn't be going in an arm or A/C!!

I tell you what, I would clock out and be waiting for that little SOB out in the parking lot with my .38 and point it right at his lower parts and let him know that I would be putting him out of working order if he touched me again.

Let's see, there have been untold billions of women, faced with the eminent arrival of a child in their lives, either by giving birth or by adoption. For women it is probably more of an eek, scary freakout moment, because, well, in the vast amount of cases, their life is going to probably change the most, more so than men. They freak - it happens for us too.

Yet, I have yet to have known of one that tried to put the make on the male nurses in the room, and reached at and grabbed a strange male nurse by the penis, groped it and had anyone try to excuse it as , "Please understand she is just stressed" by becoming a mother.

Excuses for bad behavior are just that - lame excuses for bad behavior. And when anyone indulges in bad behavior, using stress and "freaking out", it still shows what their underlying personality is.

I hope that this idiot's history follows him around like a Carfax.com report, ensuring that he never breeds and puts more women and kids in such a situation.

i'm wondering if the 'groper' was actually trying to rip 'it' off, versus copping a feel?

i recall during one of my labors, hubby said something to me (very innocent and benign) that caused me to froth at the mouth and i ended up biting him.
yep, just like a rabid dog.

so while there may be some expectant, laboring women who "grope", i am more inclined to think they wanted to choke it til it died.
*shrug*
or maybe i'm projecting again?

".........it must be a joyful experience when holding your just born child, but then her husband ruined it. kudos to the nurse for informing management and taking direct action..............." quote from post # 45 by ace 587

A. the guy wasn't her husband, but a "boyfriend"
B. the action was necessary, to prevent further abuse by the jerk

Regardless of the jerk's relationship w/mom, he was WAAAAY out of line in his comments and gropes. No excuses. Why wasn't he massaging the mom's neck? I hope she kicks him to the curb.
