Not a good idea to yell and curse at cops that are pulling you over, though.anie10 likes this. - Aug 30, '12 by tenjunaQuote from MulanLike said in the video, if someone was yelling and cursing at you, would you feel compelled to tie their hands behind their back and then fling them 8 feet and body slam them?Terrible!

no excuse, period.lindarn likes this. - Aug 30, '12 by uRNmywayDon't get me wrong, I am in no way defending the actions of police officers who abuse their authority. However, considering the animosity against police, as well as the fairly frequent occurrences of attacks against police, I get their fear on occasion. Personally, before coming to the US, I was told that if I was pulled over, to leave both hands on the steering wheel, make no sudden moves, speak only when spoken to, etc. Lol, maybe I am overly cautious, but Id rather not have any of the police brutality stuff happen to me :S

Not get out of your car, confront them, and yell and curse at them.maelstrom143 likes this. - Aug 31, '12 by Cold StethoscopeQuote from MulanBecause they have trouble maintaining a professional demeanor and become physically violent? Yes, they sometimes do, as we've learned since video recording has become so widespread. That's the smart thing to do.

It's good advice if you don't want them to mistake you for a potential threat to them. Once someone gets into retaliation mode, having handcuffs on might not help you. - Sep 1, '12 by morteafter thinking about this for awhile, I have to wonder if there is a previous relationship here. Perhaps the nurse felt she was being harrassed?
- Sep 1, '12 by Not_A_Hat_PersonShe's lucky she wasn't killed. The cops will get off; they always do.CrufflerJJ likes this.
- Sep 1, '12 by mjaybxI'm not surprised cops do that thing all the time in NYC difference is the person they body slammed isn't from the disenfranchised. If I was to body slam a patient 2x for cursing me out or hitting me (which has happend before) I would be in jail. I hope she takes them to the cleaners for every penny maybe they watch their conduct with the public.Havin' A Party! and anotherone like this.
