I saw these robot suits demonstrated at the NextFest convention last year in October at a convention in the Jacob Javitz center in NYC, & thought it was really cool:

Any lift assist research is welcome by my thinking. Can't come soon enough. I think calling it a robot is pushing the envelope.

Well, it's certainly not a robot.
It's also hard to imagine it being produced at any cost-point that would allow it to gain any kind of market penetration.
Mostly, it just looks like a cool toy for the professor and his graduate students.
