That is a pretty generalized statement. Like saying you've had a bad experience with, and therefore despise, everyone who wears the color green. Surely there was SOME foreign-born nurse or manager with whom you've either had a pleasant professional working relationship with and/or respected?
Or do you simply go INTO the world with your hatred so firmly in place that no foreign-born nurse (or others) have a chance? If someone despised me at the outset of our working relationship; made it clear they thought I was beneath contempt, then I think I, too, would react in kind.
I believe therein lies your problem, Miss.

So far you've given me no alternative. Your posts thus far have been filled with venom, and, I believe, obvious racial undertones.
You tell me.
You say I haven't a clue as to who you are...that much is true. Such a statement can be applied to all of us. No one here REALLY knows the person behind the computer screen. Thus, we are judged upon our words, and in some part, our actions here on AllNurses.

And this means what? You are harboring an illegal alien and yet you don't want foreign-born nurses? Kind of splitting hairs, don't you think?
My wife is from England, which makes her foreign born (our kids are grown and long gone from our home.)
Does this absolve me from possible claims of racism or simple ignorance? I think not. Your relationship with a Latino (national or foreign born) obviously does not prevent your intense hatred of Filipinos (and, perhaps, other nationalities.)
