Higher quality improvement participation levels needed among nurses

  1. 1 A recent study published in the Journal of Nursing Care Quality found that improvement is needed when it comes to the participation levels of newly-registered nurses in hospital quality improvement levels.
According to the study, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the participation levels in hospital quality improvement activities for RNs first licensed between 2004 and 2005 and RNs first licensed between 2007 and 2008 hardly improved.

Or maybe because patient ratios are horrible and they don't have enough time to provide the care their patients need, let alone PI activities.
