enough nurses to meet the demand?

  1. 0
Imagine a half-dozen employers offering competitive salaries and vying to hire you--before you finish school.

It's the college student's unlikely dream. Unlikely unless you're in nursing.

But what appears to be a healthy job market is actually an unsettling reality: There simply aren't enough nurses to meet the demand.

Adding to the shortage, many health-care professionals say, is that colleges can't produce enough nurses.

It's a problem with little hope for a quick resolution, despite the efforts of local colleges to turn out more graduates.
