Ive had type I for almost 16 years now (since the age of 9), I hope this works. It would be amazing to be able to turn back the hands of time. The only thing that I would be worried about is the long term effects. This is the first Ive seen about the research and its progression, but It wont be the last. I am very glade to see that they are moving so quickly, Im excited about whats to come

You need to learn to express yourself, hairstyling nurse - how DO you feel about the possibility of a diabetes cure?

As for moi - if I never again had to rush to the hospital with my son after he suffered a diabetic low-blood sugar seizure - that'd be peachy!

I really think within a few years there will be some significant progress with this disease.

It will be soooo amazing if they come up with any form of a cure. I have only had type 1 diabetes fo about 6 yrs. but its been a long six yrs. with all the issues it brings with it. DanianOrlando, I actually had more smilies on my message but allnurses only allows 20 smilies per message. I can't believe you picked up on my shy side. Hee-hee, just kidding. . I hate to hear that about your son, I have not had to experience that yet. If you don't mind my asking what is that like for your son? I thankfully have never experienced that. I have had a low of 34 that was really bad but no seizures. How long does it take for him to get back to normal? Hope all is well with him.
